HR Resolution Specialist

Job Summary:
The HR Resolution Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for employees seeking assistance with HR-related inquiries, including but not limited to system navigation, time & attendance, benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures. They provide timely and accurate information, resolve issues, and partner with other HR team members within our COEs to resolve complex matters as and when necessary. They apply in depth research and analysis using all available resources and problem-solving skills to ensure first contact resolution when feasible, as well as a top-notch employee experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. In kind, the HR Resolution Specialist must be highly adept at understanding HR concepts, processes and systems, as well as demonstrated experience with case management, HRIS and time & attendance tracking, performance and learning management tools and technologies. The role is primarily based in our Marietta, GA offices and reports directly to the Manager, HR Service Center.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Human Resources Support
* Serves as first point of contact and provides prompt and professional responses to team members inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding HR-related matters with an emphasis on first contact resolution.
* Provides guidance and support to employees on HR programs, procedures and policies, as well as navigational assistance with various transactions within the HR technology landscape.
* Serves as a liaison with our HR COEs, Payroll, IT and other stakeholder groups to ensure timely delivery of accurate information to all employees and managers throughout the enterprise.
* Regularly collaborates with HR Business Partners and Employee Relations to resolve complex issues and escalations.
*Maintains confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
* Processes HR transactions with precision and efficiency within the various HR systems, tools and technologies.
* Creates, reviews and completes documentation and forms, including but not limited to separation notices, employment verifications, Standard Operating Procedures, Business Process Documents, etc.
*Assists with HR projects such as process improvement, system testing, and other initiatives as needed.
* Creates and maintains employee records (paper and digital) as assigned.
Team Member Experience
* Responsible for promotion of a positive team member experience and increased satisfaction through efficient and courteous service delivery.
* Utilizes knowledge management and partnerships with other HR teams to address and resolve HR inquiries and issues within established Service Level Agreements and Targets.
* Instructs and guides team members to appropriate internal self-service resources when applicable for inquires.
* Effectively utilizes the case management process and system to ensure complete tracking of each team member interaction through careful and thoughtful attention to detail and accurate documentation.
Miscellaneous Duties
* Generate special reports upon request
* Serve as a HR representative during audits as and when needed.
* Other duties and projects as assigned

Required Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma Other or GED Other
- Bachelors Other-Preferred
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
Additional License(s) and Certification(s):
Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more HR related areas, such as HR administration, benefits management, talent acquisition, leave administration, etc. Required or
Minimum 1 year of experience in a centralized HR Service Center role and
Required Minimum Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely. High
Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements. High
Highly proficient in utilizing HRIS systems, HR tools and technologies, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. High
Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and confidential information; able to work with a high degree of accuracy, often in time-sensitive and/or critical situations. High
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as well as high attention to detail. High
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, adjust to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. High
Positive attitude and ability to create partnerships with HR peers and team members. High
Must be comfortable and willing to utilize telephony systems as the main method of communication. High
