The Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - ICU - PRN - LaGrange is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses – are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our ICU team at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Ga.

Responsibilities
The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing care to patients in the intensive care unit, under the supervision of a physician. Candidate must be able to perform procedures and manage patients on the ventilator. The typical schedule is 12 hours.
Qualifications
Candidates must be licensed and certified in Georgia and show proof of competency for clinical skills applied for. At least 3 years of ICU experience is required.
