The Speech Pathologist Pediatric - Vinings Health Park is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses – are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Part-Time

Smyrna, GA

The speech language pathologist evaluates patients and develops the speech/language plan of care in the areas of speech, language, voice, cognition and swallowing in collaboration with the physician. Services are provided across the full continuum and rendered in a cost-conscious, quality-focused and cutomer-oriented manner. Compliance with all applicable regulatory standards is also required in this role.

Required Minimum Education

  • Graduate from an accredited speech-language pathology program Required and
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or other related degree Required


Required Minimum Skills

  • Effective communication skills,
  • customer service focused,
  • team oriented, and
  • basic computer skills.


Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)

  • Speech Language Pathologist GA License
  • Basic Life Support Required
