Facility: Wellstar Pediatric & Adolescent Center - Smyrna

Job Summary:

The Lead Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the direction of the RN Supervisor who typically oversees multiple locations, in which the Lead LPN serves as the lead clinical resource in the onsite absence of the RN Supervisor.

The LPN Lead will uphold clinical standards under the guidance of the RN Supervisor and the Clinical Services department. Will promote clinical competency as well as maintain clinical quality control through leading and supporting survey readiness efforts as it relates to back office clinical operations.

Required Minimum Education:

Diploma from a practical or vocational nursing program is Required

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.

Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date.

Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum 1 year experience in Pediatric ambulatory, outpatient setting or hospital -
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is Preferred
