As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs that enhance daily living, mobility, strength, coordination, and cognitive function for patients recovering from injury or illness. What You’ll Do:

Patient Care & Treatment Planning

  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to help patients reach their goals.

  • Select targeted therapy techniques to improve function, mobility, and independence.

  • Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans with input from patients and families.

  • Provide education, training, and discharge planning to set patients up for long-term success.

Assessment & Documentation

  • Work closely with physicians to establish and update care plans, goals, and discharge strategies.

  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of assessments, progress notes, and education provided.

Collaboration & Professionalism

  • Serve as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services.

  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and patient confidentiality.

  • Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for both patients and colleagues.

Customer & Patient Experience

  • Foster a supportive, patient-centered atmosphere with excellent communication and care.

  • Apply AIDET principles (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) in all interactions.

  • Support a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

Education & Licensure

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.

  • Current Georgia Occupational Therapist license required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationfrom AHA required.
