HR Data Management Coordinator

Job Summary:

The HR Data Management Coordinator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of HR data within the HRIS system. This role will serve as the central point of contact for data-related inquiries, updates, and issues, and will collaborate with Human Resources, IT, Payroll and other departments to support leaders and team members.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Data Management & Maintenance: Ensures on-time and accurate completion of transactions/data entry in a high volume HRIS including but not limited to creating requests and entering, maintaining, correcting employee data. Conduct regular audits of HR data to identify and correct discrepancies. Assist in the development and maintenance of data management processes and documentation. HRIS and HR Operations Support: Provide support to HR, leaders, team members and other stakeholders in using the HRIS, including troubleshooting issues and providing guidance on system functionality and business process set up. Collaborate with the HR Business Analyst team and HRIT team to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new features by participating in system/UAT testing, and related tasks. Execute assigned business process tasks including mass data loads, approvals and other assigned tasks Collaboration & Communication: Quickly and effectively responds to all departmental questions related to transactions as well as adheres to timeline driven standards. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing data expertise and support as needed. Communicate and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and partners Reporting & Audits: Utilize custom reports and dashboards as needed. Participate in audits and provide documentation as required. Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training sessions and materials for HR staff and other users on Workday data processes and best practices. Maintain and update user guides, process documents, and other relevant documentation. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education:

  • High School Diploma General or Bachelors Human Resources Management-Preferred or Bachelors Information Systems-Preferred or Bachelors Business Administration/Management-Preferred

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

    Additional License(s) and Certification(s):

    Workday HCM certification Preferred

    Required Minimum Experience:

    Minimum 3 years experience in HR data management, HR systems and processes Required Experience with HRIS implementations or system upgrades Preferred

    Required Minimum Skills:

    Advanced excel skills and exeriene with data analysis tools Proficiency in HR technology and systems, including HRIS, case management. (Experience with Workday and ServiceNow highly desirable) Highly organized, ability to manager multiple projects and assignments; ability to pivot quickly to support changing business needs Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong Problem Solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system issues Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environment Proficiency in Workday, including data management and reporting Strong understanding of HR processes and data requirements
