The Physician- Rheumatologist- Vinings Health Park is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses – are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Facility: Vinings Health Park

Job Summary:

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a rheumatologist for our Vinings Health Park location. This position requires call one week per month, with no weekend call. Clinic is 15-18 patients per day.

Physician provide clinical services to patients consistent with their training and expertise. The care of patients is the highest priority in the WellStar Health System.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Clinical Practice of Medicine, including
- The care of patients in Outpatient or Inpatient settings or both.
- The documentation of clinical care
- The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functions
- Continuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board Certification 100%

Required Minimum Education:

A MD, DO Degree Required and
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia Required and
Applicants must have completed the necessary Residency training requisite for their given specialty and be Certified or qualified for Certification by their respective specialty Board Required

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Required Minimum Experience:

Previous practice experience in a Residency Training Program Required and
Prior practice experience, in lieu of Residency Training Preferred

It is expected that applicants will possess skills commensurate with their given specialty.
Applicants will be expected to show proof of competency for clinical skills applied for.
