Job Summary:

The Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for leading teams to create and develop strategies to attract and hire top talent across specific service lines system wide at Wellstar. With candidate and hiring leader experience at the forefront of every decision, the Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for continuous improvement in process and workflows that aide in bringing the top talent to Wellstar Health System. This Director will lead a team with data centric understanding to coach and develop team members to understand recruitment data. This leader will be responsible monitoring key performance indicators enabling proactive decisions and strategies to be made regarding service line of accountability. This person proactively consults with operational executive leadership to identify TA needs and design and deploy innovative employee recruitment strategies to meet the short- and longer-term business needs. They will work collaboratively with fellow HR leaders, at facility and system level to ensure talent solutions are effective for the system. Represents Talent Acquisition on system wide cross-functional teams to contribute to system wide strategy initiatives. Ability to implement workflows, technology and practices to deliver and execute on system wide initiatives.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Data Centric Leadership Accountability
- Oversight for daily operations of recruitment activities. Serves as a check and balance for all recruitment related projects and priorities in relation to departments staffing. Directs the way communications in regard to recruitment is delivered to departments based on data and focused on outcomes
- Supervises the Talent Acquisition Team and maintains the focus on the Employer of Choice Strategy including Performance Management, Workforce Development, Leadership Development, Cultural Competency and Leveraging Technology.
- Leads team to drive execute on recruitment strategies to achieve organizational goals
- Analyze metric data to identify trends in recruitment data specific to site vacancy and turnover rates. Assures appropriate data is maintained for recruitment activities. Trusted Advisor
- Represents Talent Acquisition on system wide cross-functional teams to contribute to system wide strategy initiatives.
- Regular attendance at facility leadership meetings to represent and report out on Talent Acquisition progress and consult with facility leaders across the system to develop recruitment strategies based on needs
- Acts as a liaison to Benefits Analyst, Compensation Analyst, Consulting staff, and HR Director to ensure service to external and internal customers and appropriate feedbacks at all levels. Regulatory Compliance

- Assures candidates are screened based on job requirements.
- Assures required education, license, certification are provided and documented in employee file.
- Assists hiring managers with interpretation and implementation of HR polices related to staffing.
- Interprets policies and procedures, EEO, and fair employment practices.

Required Minimum Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Required or
Related field Required and
Master's Degree Preferred

Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum 7 years experience in a talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, or related department preferably within a healthcare environment with a working knowledge of recruitment processes and workflow; knowledge of affirmative action documentation and applicable data reporting Required and
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience leading others Required and
Experience developing and leading complex enterprise initiatives, strategies and projects aligned with organization strategies within medium to large companies with elements that incorporate some of the following aspects in the solutions: technology, process improvement, program and project management, portfolio management, data, marketing, programs, operations, organizational mergers/integrations or hiring Required and
Proven experience, and success in measuring ROI of solutions and investments, operations, and strategy effectiveness, process improvement, change management and adoption.

Required Minimum Skills:

Knowledge of best practices, technologies and solutions across industries within the talent acquisition function
Ability to design and report on program and process improvement ROI
Ability to influence and consulting to stakeholders and senior leaders to influence change and gain support for solutions and adoption
Experience in creating strategies, roadmaps, project plans, RFPs, business presentations and business cases
Intermediate to advanced MS Office and systems and technology expertise
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to gain an understanding of others ideas, negotiate and resolve conflicts, facilitate groups meetings, and communicate with multiple levels of employees and management; Customer driven and results oriented; learns/understands the customers business, objectives and goals, and by supporting them, maintains strong and effective customer relationships.
Strong relationship building and maintenance capability across all levels and departments of organization
Broad understanding of employment processes, including risk management, internal versus external audiences, and various executions of employment brand (e.g., SEO, online advertising, interactive/web-based tools, etc.)
Deep knowledge of various recruitment and sourcing technologies; active and ongoing learning about new trends, tools, and approaches. Ability to train others.
