Responsibilities

We are seeking that Licensed Practical Nurse who likes the variety of working in a Family Medicine practice. A full-time immediate opportunity exists for this dedicated professional committed to the best patient care.  The position is located at West Georgia Family Medicine in Lafayette, GA.

The LPN functions under the direction of the Float Team Clinical Supervisor.  The LPN recognizes patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction.  This includes preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordination of tests and follow-up care and recording treatment in medical record.  The LPN helps with patient/family education and demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:

Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.

Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date.
