The Physician - General Surgery - Paulding is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses – are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Facility: Paulding Hospital
Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a board eligible/board certified General Surgeon to join our established surgery team at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. The group is currently comprised of 2 surgeons. Wellstar Paulding Hospital is a 100-bed, level 4 trauma center located about 45 minutes from Downtown Atlanta and about 1 hour from Atlanta International airport.
Located in sought-after NW metro-Atl community with good school districts, entertainment, shopping and restaurants, close to the Atlanta Braves stadium and more.
Responsibilites include taking general surgery call in rotation with the general surgeons and surgicalists at Wellstar Paulding Hospital and building an elective general surgery practice with the opportunity for robotics.
