The Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant- Gastroenterology- Paulding Hospital is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses – are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Wellstar Paulding Hospital is searching for an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant for our growing GI practice. This position will be a hybrid of inpatient and outpatient.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Provide clinical care for 12-15 patients per day in a clinical setting after fully onboarded. Will also have inpatient responsibilities including but not limited to, new consults, follow ups and pre and post procedure patients.
Required Minimum Education:
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certification
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
GA licensure preferred
