Job Summary:
Functions under the direction of the Manager of Fitness Centers Growth and Engagement. This role is responsible for general promotion and outreach related efforts of all Wellstar Fitness Centers and more specifically, our medically based fitness programs. This individual will be a key contributor in the generation of increased membership sales, outreach to providers for medical fitness integration, and general marketing of Wellstar Fitness Centers. The Fitness Centers Outreach Rep will ideally be a self-started who can autonomously bring a passion for innovation and finding new ways to drive business. This person will work collaboratively with Wellstar service line leaders and Supervisor of Programs at Health Place to develop new referral programs with physicians as well as gain new prospective clients from physicians not currently referring to our medical fitness programs. This role will develop and deliver sales presentations that promote programs and services provided by all Wellstar Fitness Centers to system stakeholders. This role is required to monitor market intelligence and identify issues that are barriers to referrals and increased business and report findings to the Manager of Growth and Engagement. Additionally, this individual will represent Wellstar Fitness Centers at community events by staffing marketing booths and providing information on the organization's services, programs, classes, service lines and locations.Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Business strategies to enhance referrals and generate membership growth for Wellstar Fitness Centers - Coordinate and provide direction to further implement, develop, and maintain physician relationships. - Oversee and maintain integrity of all medical clearance procedures. - Ensure provider follow-ups for pre- and post- assessments of medically based fitness programs as reported by the team of Exercise Physiologists. - Deliver communication and act as a liaison between providers and fitness center team of Exercise Physiologists, while also serving as a key contributor to our medical advisory board. - Work closely with leadership team to identify barriers to meet business goals and establish networking amongst the community relative to all fitness center programs. - Support fitness center efforts to gain funding opportunities for our medically integrated programs through grants to remove consumer related financial access barriers. - Work collaboratively with Manager of Growth and Engagement to achieve volume and financial budget expectations for medically based fitness programs relative to membership growth. - Maintain confidentiality of patient/client related information Outreach Activation - Represent Wellstar Fitness at corporate and community events by consistently creating an impactful first impression and engaging attendees in a meaningful and relevant manner. - Responsible for organization and execution of networking opportunities and events. - Network and build trusting relationships with consumers and Wellstar Service Lines. - Ability to influence and elevate the Wellstar Fitness brand within the organization. - Thoroughly understand Wellstar Fitness services, amenities, and medically based fitness programs. - Track consumer feedback and preferences and suggest creative ideas to drive fitness center membership. - Provide feedback to the Consumer Engagement department leadership regarding consumer comments and requests. - Develop marketing material as needed to promote services for Wellstar Fitness Centers. - Uses social media accounts to promote the brand and products; represents Wellstar Fitness in a positive way in a multitude of settings. Scheduling - Communicate as required regarding schedule availability and schedule confirmation. - Maintain work requirements. - Staff special events as needed to assist in meeting department goals for Medical Fitness Integration. - Travel to all markets within current geographic territories to promote programs to community stakeholders and Wellstar service lines/providers. - Attend required staff meetings. Equipment Utilization - Properly utilize resources, equipment and materials provided to execute programs and services. - Transport equipment and supplies to designated program site, and set-up/break down as needed. - Ensure marketing related inventory is stocked and supply needs are relayed to Manager of Growth EngagementRequired Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing, Customer service or fitness related field RequiredRequired Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 2 years of combined experience in Customer Service, Sales and Marketing preferably in a fitness setting. RequiredRequired Minimum Skills:
Must have a working knowledge of basic computer capabilities with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of sales and fitness center environment. Must be organized and attentive to detail. Exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to operate a car and travel to all accounts and facilities as required. Capacity to think creatively and seek innovative alternatives. Must possess good territory and time management skills. Must be able to work independently and use good judgement according to established policy.
