How would you like to work in a changing position where your work is appreciated by many?  We are looking for a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse who enjoys variety and different rewarding work every week.  This is a PRN opportunity on our float team involving assignment to various Wellstar West Georgia Medical Group practices.

The Float Pool Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the direction of the Facility Float Manager. The Float LPN recognizes the patient's needs and symptoms in advance and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction.  This includes preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordination of tests and follow-up care and recording treatment in medical record.  The LPN helps with patient/family education and demonstrates competency and skills to serve patients of all ages and populations.

Required Minimum Education:

Practical or Vocational Nursing Diploma

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:

• Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date.
• ACLS/PALS may be required for some practice areas.
