Facility: Wellstar MCG Health

Position Summary:

Works closely with IT and non-IT stakeholders to support projects and oversee maintenance and support of infrastructure services (focus on Network Services). Responsible for managing the strategic and quality initiatives for a defined group while ensuring all business standards and service levels are met. Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures. Collaborates with other departments and teams to prioritize resources, schedule work, monitor progress and support change management efforts. Participates in continual process improvements to improve service excellence.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology related studies and 8 years or more of experience in networking, data center or related roles to include some leadership experience. Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement. Skills required: Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices. Deep understanding of Networking, Unified Communications and Video conferencing, including but not limited to: Routing, Switching, Wireless, Voice over IP, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams. Management. Customer Service.

Preferred Requirements: 10 years or more of experience in infrastructure related roles. Background in healthcare information technology. Understanding of EPHI (Electronic Protected Health Information) HIPAA regulations. Coaching and training of staff.
