Wellstar's COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

As the leading nonprofit healthcare provider in Georgia, Wellstar has taken a leadership position with respect to how we can most effectively do our part to end COVID-19.

We believe vaccination is the best protection for our patients, community members and the Wellstar team.  

Guided by our mission to enhance the health and well-being of every person we serve, our commitment to team member safety, as well as studying the most current scientific information via the CDC, Wellstar Health System requires all newly hired team members to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and the flu at the time of hire date.

For newly hired team members seeking either a medical or religious exemption from the vaccine requirement, they must submit a request which must be approved prior to their hire date.
