To this end, the Wellstar Medical Group is excited to announce an opportunity for Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support the needs of the Wellstar South Cobb market in Austell, GA.

Located in south Cobb County, Wellstar Cobb Hospital is a 382-bed hospital serving a diverse west Atlanta suburban population. Wellstar Cobb offers a continuum of psychiatric services, including a free-standing 32-bed adult inpatient behavioral health unit, a 7-day per week consultation-liaison psychiatry service, and a new outpatient psychiatric clinic. There are also plans to reopen an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) on the Cobb campus.

Responsibilities

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides services in an ambulatory clinic located on the Wellstar Cobb Hospital campus. (S)He will work alongside outpatient psychiatrists, and psychologists, – all working collaborative to provide world-class psychiatric care to a heterogenous population of patients with primary psychiatric and/or substance use disorders.

Overview of Duties/Responsibilities

This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. 

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: (1) hold a Master’s degree (e.g., MSW) in social work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, (2) possess active licensure as a clinical social worker (i.e. LCSW) in the State of Georgia.
