Facility: Wellstar MCG Health

Position Summary: Responsible for working in a proactive manner to establish, maintain, monitor and report on health system IT budgets within appropriate financial policies and guidelines using institutional accounting/budgeting controls, standards, guidelines and tools. Prepares health system IT operating and capital budgets, assists in annual business planning and budgeting for IT functions, prepares journal entries, accruals, completes account reconciliations and gathers data for annual financial audits and tracks alliance IT financial activities and reporting.

Position Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 5 years or more of experience in accounting position. Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement.
